What Makes This Course Different?: Having invented the concept of Mobile FEES, I had to learn as I went. I made mistakes, learned from others’ mistakes, and have successfully navigated the healthcare climate for 30 years as a business owner and provider of FEES. Figuring out how, which areas of healthcare, and when is a good time to launch your business is vital to success. This 4 hour course takes you through all of the options and introduces you to topics to consider in choosing your direction.

Prerequisites: This training assumes a basic understanding of FEES. The participant may have attended a CEU course or Online course on FEES and understands the practical application of this technique for diagnostic swallowing instrumentation.
What Makes This Course Different?: Over the past 30 years I have been asked to train SLPs in preparation for performing FEES. There does not seem to be a place for an SLP to get all of the training they need in order to be clinically privileged and start their services. This course provides the SLP with not only the clinical expertise to be clinically privileged, but also the field training and business introduction under our direct supervision so that one can ethically put themselves out there as meeting all best practices for performing FEES according to the standards as set forth by ASHA. This varies from Package #5 in that this is an advanced FEES Course and we replace the field mentoring with introduction to the business of Mobile FEES.
